M.E.C. provides necessary tools to encourage single mothers who have experienced domestic violence start, complete or further their education.

We encourage each mother to realize her full potential for personal and professional growth so that she can, in turn provide for the successful development of her children.

Although each family comes from a different background, each mother shares a common interest; to improve the quality of life for her family.  This desire is nurtured through interactions with our staff and volunteers. 

Staff assist women in setting goals, identifing challenges, and developing a plan that will help make attending school possible and successful.
